Frequently asked questions about instant coffee
What is the difference between freeze-dried, instant, and soluble coffee?
Soluble and instant are the same thing. “Freeze-dried” is the premium method of producing that soluble (dried by freezing), which preserves the aroma much better.
Is freeze-dried coffee of lower quality than whole bean coffee?
No. It is made from 100% specialty Arabica coffee, the same origin we sell as whole beans. Freeze-drying only removes the water.
Does it contain sugar or additives?
No. It is 100% coffee, with no added sugars or flavorings.
How do you prepare it? Can I use milk or serve it cold?
Dissolve in water, milk, or a plant-based drink, hot (90–95 °C) or cold.
How many cups does it make?
Box of 100 sachets = 100 cups;
250 g tin ≈ 125–140 cups.
How is it preserved?
In a cool, dry place, tightly closed. Does not require refrigeration.
Does decaf have caffeine?
Only traces (less than 0.1%). Suitable for the afternoon and evening.
